Ok so it's been a min since i wrote about anything besides my kids or pregnancy but i saw something on tv yesterday which got me thinkin.It was one of MTV's semi-reality teen shows,sweet sixteen.As I watched the show and saw how disgustingly spoiled these kids were I thought ,"jesus someone needs to call child services on these parents for NOT smackin the hell out of them!" Now I know that these shows are exxagerated somewhat but i thought with shows like this one,the hills,the o.c., and now some new shit called maui fever about ,what else,spoiled rich kids acting like sluts,what kind of message is being sent to kids?That it's not only normal but "hot"to push up your tits and stick out your ass even if you are only 15?That having a total lack of respect for your parents or any other elder for that matter is cool? Everywhere i look i see the impression this Paris Hilton phenomenon has had,even down to the kids clothing at wal-mart!It is just complete madness,girls today think their goal in life should be looking hot instead of having a brain.It wasn't that long ago that I was a teenager but in that short time so much has changed.In the 90's when i was a teen,shows like the Real World were actually social experiments,now all it is is 7 hot people living in a house to see who will fuck first!
