Well I had another ultrasound yesterday(i get one every 2 wks now cause i'm high risk) and the dr discovered that the baby has a dialated kidney.Basically the tube that runs from his bladder to kidney has a kink in it which is causing some of his urine to back up into his kidney.They said it's more common in boys and is not life threatening but if the kink hasn't worked itself out by the time he's 2wks old they'll have to do surgery.Even though it wouldn't be major surgery,the thought of it still kinda freaks me out.He'd have it right around the time his penis would be starting to feel better from the circumsision.The poor kid wouldn't get a break from pain for months! I pray that he doesn't have to have the surgery but at the same time I am just grateful that they haven't found anything too serious.
