What's wrong with our people?
What's wrong with our world?
When we gonna learn to love every boy and every girl?
It's a shame when even small town folks lock their doors.
It's a shame when even babies have to die in all our wars.
We send young men and women off to die for our freedom.
When it's their family and friends left alone,that really need 'em.
Thou shalt not kill..unless they shoot first.
That's not what your bible says..I think you need to check the verse.
Now grieving loved ones have nothing more than a letter.
And after all this destruction,is anything any better?
Instead of anger and animosity,we need to have faith in our humanity.
Cause without faith we're all just lost.
To prove you're right..is it really worth the cost?
We've got money to pay for all the wars.
But we ain't got money to feed the poor?
Love's the only thing that can heal this nation.
Maybe that's why those buildings had to fall.
To wake us up and remind us all.
What's really important in life is love.
And that is just something we can't lose sight of.
